Once fully trained, you become the expert resource for the team by sharing expertise, treatment options and solutions, and elevating the overall understanding of the dry eye processes.
Position Purpose and Objectives:
On-the-job training in dry eye therapies will be provided, and once fully trained your primary responsibilities will encompass, but not be limited to:
- Maintain Dry Eye Standard Operating Procedures.
- Utilize the IPL (Intense Pulsed Light), RF (Radiofrequency), and Lipiflow technologies to perform dry eye treatments, ensuring correct and safe application tailored to individual patient needs.
- Educate patients on the underlying causes of dry eye and skin conditions, available treatments, and lifestyle modifications for optimal health.
- Recommend products and regimens to support treatment outcomes and skin health.
- Conduct follow-up calls or emails post-treatment to ensure the efficacy of the treatment and adherence to recommended regimens.
- Provide ongoing support for maintenance and adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with doctors and Patient Care team.
- Monitor and improve use of CSI Dry Eye software.
- Schedule dry eye related appointments.
- Set and manage recalls for Dry Eye appointments and follow ups.
- Ensure patients receive consistent high-quality education.
- Monitor patient feedback.
- Maintain and improve educational tools.
- Work with the clinic manager to manage supplier relationships.
- Assist in background duties such as room stocking, cleaning, and maintaining an organized work environment.
- Manage inventory of skincare products and dry eye consumables.
- Maintain equipment readiness by running autoclaves and ensuring all instruments are sterile and prepared for use.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Medical aesthetic license or relatable experience
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks
- Manual Dexterity
- Exceptional attention to detail, and critical thinking.
- Ability to handle challenging situations tactfully and diplomatically
