Description:
The successful candidate will take an important role in design and project management within MPE’s Water Resources team. The position requires a broad range of skills and experience in a wide variety of water resource projects. We are open to applicants across Ontario, but preference will be given to those in Sudbury.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University in Civil or Environmental Engineering,

Registration with PEO as an Engineer (P.Eng.),
-
4 to 8 years of experience in engineering, including design, management, construction supervision, and project management in the following areas of practice is desired:
-
Hydropower development, water management, water control structures, dam safety, flood mitigation, drainage, pipelines, irrigation development and river engineering.

Self-motivated, with good leadership, project management and client management experience; and possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
-
Management of projects, contract administration, construction management, and design engineering,
-
Coordination, supervision, mentoring, and management of junior engineers and technologists,

Prepare planning reports, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents,
-
Perform construction administration and general construction supervision duties,
-
Work closely with our clients to ensure their project objectives are met.
