As the Automotive Service Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the service department. You’ll be responsible for managing a talented team of technicians and advisors while ensuring a smooth, efficient, and customer-centered experience. Your leadership will play a key role in meeting business goals, enhancing customer satisfaction, and fostering a fun, accountable workplace culture.
Lead and motivate service staff, including technicians, advisors, and support staff
Oversee scheduling, workflow, and service operations to ensure timely repairs and maintenance
Monitor KPIs and drive profitability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and care
Recruit, train, and develop team members
Ensure all safety, environmental, and OEM standards are met
Collaborate with parts and sales departments to ensure seamless customer experiences
Maintain a high level of dealership standards and customer service excellence
Proven experience in a leadership role in an automotive service department (Nissan or import brands a plus)
Strong technical knowledge and a customer-first mindset
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Experience with dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, etc.)
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Red Seal certification or equivalent experience is an asset
