About the Role
We're looking for a skilled, detail-oriented Air Conditioning Technician to join a growing team that takes pride in quality workmanship. You'll install, service, and maintain cooling and climate-control systems for residential and commercial customers and if you also bring experience across home comfort systems like boilers and hot water heating, you'll fit right in and have room to grow with us.
This is a great fit for someone who knows AC inside and out but is looking to broaden into full home-services work, with steady work, professional development, and a supportive crew.
What You'll Do
- Install, inspect, service, and repair air conditioning units, HVAC systems, and related mechanical equipment in homes and commercial spaces
- Perform routine maintenance and tune-ups to keep systems running efficiently, reliably, and safely
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools
- Handle related plumbing and appliance work as needed to support system performance
- Braze, weld, or modify components to meet installation and repair specifications
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and construction plans for installs and retrofits
- Work alongside our install and construction crews on new builds and upgrades
- Keep clear records of maintenance, repairs, and system performance
- Follow all safety standards and building/gas codes on every job
What You Bring
- Proven hands-on experience installing, servicing, and maintaining air conditioning and HVAC systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude, with skills in brazing/welding and basic plumbing
- Comfort reading schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Ability to diagnose accurately with the right tools and a methodical approach
- Excellent problem-solving skills and genuine attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, in varied environments
- Relevant trade certification an asset (e.g., Red Seal / refrigeration or gas ticket; EPA/ODP refrigerant handling)
A Strong Advantage (Not Required)
Experience beyond cooling is what sets a candidate apart. We'd love to hear from you if you also have hands-on experience with:
- Boilers and hydronic/hot water heating systems
- Hot water tanks and on-demand (tankless) water heaters
- Furnaces and general home comfort systems
- Other residential home-services work

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
