About the Role

Right at Home Maple Ridge is seeking a growth-oriented Business Development & Care Planner Hybrid. This role bridges the gap between community advocacy and client care. This is not aggressive, corporate cold-calling—it is relationship-driven networking. You will connect with local doctors, hospital discharge planners, and community groups to ensure families get the support they need.
Whether your background is in professional sales, hospitality management, or the healthcare industry (such as an HCA, LPN, or Medical Office Assistant looking for a career growth path), we are looking for a powerhouse networker. Core Responsibilities
- Community Relations and Partnership Building
- Local Networking: Connect daily with healthcare professionals, medical clinics, and community groups to position us as their trusted partner.
- Referral Management: Build authentic, long-term relationships with local influencers to generate incoming client inquiries.
- Educational Presentations: Lead dynamic one-on-one meetings and group presentations to educate community sources on our specialized services.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Represent our organization at professional networks, wellness fairs, trade shows, and community events.
- Pipeline Tracking: Maintain consistent records of outreach activities and relationship progress using our internal platform.
Care Planning & Client Intake
- Inquiry Guidance: Respond to inbound inquiries from families, acting as a compassionate guide through their care options.
- Consultations: Conduct detailed client assessments and personal home consultations to establish trust and safety plans.
- Care Plan Design: Develop customized care paths and collaborate with internal scheduling teams to launch services.
- Client Advocacy: Serve as an ongoing resource for families, updating their personalized care plans as their medical or social needs evolve.

Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare, home care, care coordination, client services, business development, or a related field.
- Required Competencies: Ability to balance client-centered care planning with relationship development, community engagement, and business growth initiatives.
- Mobility: Valid Driver’s License, a clean driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle for daily territory travel.
- Background Check: Clear Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) issued within the past 6 months.
- Certifications: Current First Aid and CPR Level C certification.
- Legal Status: Legally entitled to work in Canada.
