Overview
We are seeking post-secondary graduates (diploma or higher) who are passionate about supporting individuals in a structured, relationship-focused mental health and therapy support environment.
This role focuses on client support, active listening, and maintaining consistent therapeutic engagement. It is centered on communication, emotional presence, and the ability to build trust with individuals seeking ongoing support.
You will work with clients who have enrolled in therapy or mental health support services, helping ensure each session is respectful, stable, and meaningful.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide structured individual support sessions (in-person and online)
- Support clients enrolled in therapy or mental health programs
- Build and maintain ongoing client relationships over time
- Practice active listening, reflection, and clear communication
- Assist in creating a safe, supportive, and respectful environment
- Encourage consistency and engagement across sessions
- Maintain professional boundaries and documentation standards (if applicable)
Qualifications
- Post-secondary diploma required (related field preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, respectful, and emotionally grounded attitude
- Ability to build rapport and maintain client relationships
- Strong active listening and empathy skills
- Comfortable working with individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, or life challenges
