Job Title: Tennis Coach (Adult Programs & Private Lessons)
Location: 286 Harbord St, BreakPoint Tennis Club
Schedule: Saturdays, 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Duration: July 25th – October 10th
About the Role:
BreakPoint Tennis Club is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Tennis Coach to lead our Saturday adult classes and private lessons. Our clientele ranges from beginners to advanced players, requiring a coach who can adapt their instruction to various skill levels while delivering an exceptional, high-energy experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and execute engaging adult group clinics and private lessons.
* Organize and manage club tennis tournaments, ensuring a professional and seamless experience for participants.
* Actively contribute to the club’s digital presence by creating and posting social media content, including tournament highlights, results, and instructional video content during downtime or low-attendance windows.
* Deliver consistent programming and maintain operational continuity, adapting sessions safely in inclement weather conditions.
Candidate Requirements:
* High Autonomy & Reliability: Exceptional punctuality is a must. The successful candidate is expected to manage their own logistics, including scouting the location, parking, and court preparation prior to the first session.
* Proactive Mindset: We operate with minimal supervision. We need a self-starter who anticipates court needs, takes immediate initiative, and resolves minor issues independently.
* Strong Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build a strong rapport with club members, providing encouraging, high-quality instruction that makes players of all levels feel valued and supported.
* Media Comfort: Comfortable being on camera and producing engaging digital content to help promote the club.
