Overview
We are seeking a reliable, professional, and hardworking Delivery Driver to join our Canada Bread delivery team in the Maple Ridge and Lower Mainland area. This role involves delivering fresh bakery products safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service to retail locations.
The ideal candidate is punctual, responsible, customer-focused, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Previous bread delivery or merchandising experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate with strong driving skills and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport bread products to assigned locations
- Load and unload products efficiently while maintaining product quality
- Ensure accurate deliveries by verifying orders and invoices
- Maintain strong relationships with store staff and customers through professional communication
- Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules to meet tight deadlines
- Keep delivery vehicles clean, organized, and safe
- Follow all company safety procedures and traffic regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members regarding deliveries or issues
- Assist with merchandising and stocking products when required
- Maintain a high level of responsibility and ownership for daily operations
Requirements & Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Clean driving abstractComfortable with early morning starts (3:00 AM)Strong time management and organizational skillsExcellent communication and customer service abilitiesAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionPhysically capable of lifting and moving bakery products safelyReliable, punctual, and dependable with an ownership mindsetPreferred Qualifications (Assets)
- Previous bread delivery experience
- Previous bread merchandising experience
- Warehouse or route delivery experience
- Familiarity with Lower Mainland routes and traffic patterns
