Salary:
$24.00 per hour starting
Driving escort vehicles (half ton truck) to escort oversize loads in Canada and the US. Must be physically fit, requires some heavy lifting, such as moving blocking up to 50 lbs and assisting drivers in chaining down loads etc. Must have a good driving record and be able to travel into the us. Can be on the road 2 to 3 weeks at a time.
Anticipated Start Date: Immediately
Experience is considered an asset.
Responsibilities:
- Keep truck clean
- Stay focused on the road to get the load from point A to point B safely
- Operate trailers on bigger loads (steering around corners, construction)
- Good communication with drivers
- Team player
- Able to work alone or with others
