Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks, including building structures, installing fixtures, and performing repairs. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Construct, install, and repair structures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials according to project requirements.
- Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square.
- Install roofing, siding, flooring, and other fixtures as needed.
- Perform caulking and sealing tasks to ensure durability and weather resistance.
- Conduct construction estimating to assess project costs and materials needed.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors on-site to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in construction or maintenance person services.
- Familiarity with various carpentry techniques including flooring installation, siding application, and roofing systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)

Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
