Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Childcare Centre Director to lead our team and oversee daily operations. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a deep understanding of early childhood education, licensing standards, staff mentorship, and family engagement.

Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Childcare Centre Director in Alberta
Strong knowledge and practical experience with the Alberta Flight Framework, Emergent and Montessori environment
Level 3 Early Childhood Educator Certification (Alberta)
Thorough understanding of Alberta childcare licensing regulations and accreditation standards
Proven leadership, staff supervision, and program management experience
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Current First Aid/CPR certification
Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the childcare centre
Lead, mentor, and support educators and support staff
Ensure compliance with Alberta licensing and health & safety standards
Develop and maintain engaging, high-quality early learning programs
Foster positive relationships with families, staff, and community partners
Manage enrolment, staffing, scheduling, and administrative duties
Support a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture
