KELCOM Radio Solutions, a division of the Prairie Mobile Group, is looking for an experienced 12-volt equipment technician who can move into an Installation Technician position with minimal training. This is a full-time permanent position for our location in Windsor, Ontario.
With steady work, a supportive team environment, and meaningful projects that support public safety services such as Essex County Police, Fire, and Ambulance, the right individual will excel at working as part of a team or independently as needed and take great pride in providing quality workmanship. The successful candidate will be able to utilize their skills, knowledge, and experience to install, repair, and maintain specialized equipment in a variety of vehicles.

Qualifications:
- Be mechanically inclined and able to work with and maintain hand tools and small power tools.
- 3 years’ experience in a similar role is an asset (will train the right candidate).
- In-building installation experience is an asset; full training will be provided.
- Mobile Electronics Certified Professional designation is an asset.
- Good communication and strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management and organization skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must possess a valid G Driver’s License and acceptable drivers abstract for moving customer vehicles, and travel to customer sites using company vehicles.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance throughout employment if required by customers.
- Must be physically fit with the ability to bend, stretch, stand for prolonged periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
