Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Night Auditor to join our team in Belleville. This role is essential for ensuring smooth overnight operations, guest satisfaction, and accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, hospitality experience, and the ability to handle various front desk responsibilities during nighttime hours. Multilingual and bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve our diverse guest base effectively. Responsibilities
- Perform nightly audit procedures to reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of all financial transactions.
- Welcome and assist guests with check-in and check-out processes, providing exceptional customer service.
- Handle guest inquiries via multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy, maintaining proper phone etiquette.
- Manage front desk operations during overnight hours, including reservations, billing, and guest requests.
- Monitor security of the hotel premises and report any suspicious activity or maintenance issues.
- Prepare daily reports for management, including financial summaries and occupancy data.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and updating guest records.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and standards of hospitality throughout the shift.
Experience
- Previous hotel experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills.
- Experience working with multi-line phone systems and guest services software is a plus.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to better serve our diverse clientele.
- Familiarity with front desk operations and hospitality industry standards is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining high attention to detail.
