As a Senior Accountant, you’ll take on a leadership role across a variety of client engagements, with a strong emphasis on Review and Compilation work. You’ll be responsible for overseeing files from planning through completion, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance, while acting as a key point of contact for both clients and internal team members. Lead and review year-end working paper files for Compilation and Review engagements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards
- Plan and execute Review engagements, identifying issues, analyzing financial information, and ensuring high-quality deliverables
- Oversee and contribute to audit assignments, including supervising fieldwork and reviewing supporting documentation
- Prepare and review corporate, personal, and trust tax returns, ensuring compliance and identifying tax planning opportunities where applicable
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, managing relationships, addressing inquiries, and providing guidance throughout engagements
- Mentor and support junior team members, reviewing their work and contributing to their professional development
- Collaborate with managers and partners on special projects and process improvements
- Ensure all work aligns with firm policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements

3–5+ years of experience in a public accounting firm, with strong exposure to Review and Compilation engagements
- CPA designation (or near completion) required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of ASPE, ASNPO, and Canadian tax principles
- Advanced proficiency with CaseWare, CaseView, TaxPrep, and Microsoft Office
- Proven ability to manage multiple engagements, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build client relationships
