We are currently seeking an experienced, compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse to join our leadership team as a Clinical Lead at our Edmonton Chinatown Care Centre.
This is an exciting opportunity for an RN leader who is passionate about seniors' care, enjoys mentoring staff, and is committed to providing exceptional clinical leadership.

About the Role
Reporting to the Site Leader, the Clinical Lead is responsible for the day-to-day clinical operations of our long-term care community. You will lead a multidisciplinary team while ensuring residents receive high-quality, resident-centred care in a safe, respectful and compassionate environment.
As a member of our leadership team, you will:
- Lead, mentor and support RNs, LPNs, HCAs and other care staff.
- Promote a culture of resident-centred care, teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the delivery of quality clinical care and ensure compliance with provincial standards and best practices.
- Support quality improvement initiatives, resident safety and infection prevention.
- Participate in resident care conferences and collaborate with residents, families, physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
- Coach staff, complete performance evaluations and address performance concerns when required.
- Assist with recruitment, orientation and ongoing staff development.
- Monitor clinical indicators including MDS/RAI, falls, medication incidents and quality outcomes.
- Participate in accreditation, audits and quality improvement initiatives.
- Foster positive relationships with residents, families, physicians and community partners.

Qualifications Required
- Bachelor of Nursing (BN or BScN)
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
- Current CPR Certification
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in a healthcare environment
- Experience working with seniors, including dementia care
- Strong leadership, communication and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent critical thinking and clinical decision-making abilities
- Working knowledge of MDS/RAI, PCC and electronic medication administration systems (eMAR)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer applications
Preferred
- Graduate education in healthcare or leadership
- Education in Gerontology, Palliative Care or Mental Health
- Acute care experience
- Experience leading teams within continuing care or long-term care
Language Skills
Our Edmonton Chinatown Care Centre proudly serves a culturally diverse resident population with a strong Chinese community presence.
The ability to speak Cantonese and/or Mandarin would be considered a strong asset.

- Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta
- Current CPR Certification
- Criminal Record Check including a Vulnerable Sector Check
- Proof of eligibility to work in Canada
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55.12-$67.07 per hour
