Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes and fluid top-offs, while providing excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to develop technical skills in automotive repair within a professional dealership environment. Candidates with dealership or mechanic experience are highly preferred, and a strong mechanical knowledge is essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes, fluid replacements, and basic vehicle inspections efficiently and accurately
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete maintenance tasks according to manufacturer specifications
- Assist with vehicle maintenance and minor repairs as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions
- Upsell additional maintenance services when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue
- Follow all safety procedures related to heavy lifting and the use of maintenance equipment
- Must be able to work Saturdays
Skills
- Dealership experience or mechanic background is highly desirable
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of automotive repair procedures and routine maintenance tasks
- Sales skills are a plus for promoting additional services to customers
Pay: $17.60-$20.89 per hour
