Job Overview
School age childcare....Hours will be 630-930 and 230-600 paid at a 7 hour premium(school days) 8-530 non school days. Also have a 11-530 shift as well.
Experience working in a childcare centre is a must.
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Education (ECE) professionals for the roles of ECE II or ECE III. Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate activities for children in accordance with curriculum standards.
- Provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment that promotes learning and social-emotional growth.
- Collaborate with team members, parents, and specialists to support each child's individual needs.
- Monitor and document children's progress, maintaining accurate records of developmental milestones.
- Assist with classroom management and organization to ensure a smooth daily routine.
- Support children with disabilities or special needs through tailored activities and accommodations.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.
- Utilize computer skills for documentation, lesson planning, and communication purposes.
Skills
- Proficiency in English; bilingual abilities such as French are a plus.
- Experience working with children in early childhood education settings or classrooms.
- Knowledge of childcare practices, special education strategies, and working with individuals with disabilities.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
- Organizational skills for managing classroom activities and documentation efficiently.
