Currently, we are in search of talent like you! We are looking for experienced and skilled Project Coordinators to join our Calgary teams on a full-time basis.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Quantity take-offs for the purposes of cost estimates and jobsite requirements
- Request quotations and product information from suppliers
- Order materials and coordinate delivery schedules
- Track all deliveries to site
- Review for accuracy and approve invoices
- Participate in site inspections from Architects, Engineers, and City Consultants
- Request information from Architects, Engineers, and City Consultants
- Review drawings, site instructions and addendums to ensure accuracy and practicality
- Facilitate communication between contractors and consultants
- Create documents to relay information to contractors in an official manner
- Quality control inspections and documentation of all work on-going on site
Weekly Responsibilities:
- Create a weekly site meeting agenda of pertinent upcoming information
- Create and revise a short term look ahead schedule
- Track all job progress for the purpose of scheduling and billing
- Review and approve timesheets
- All other duties assigned by the Project Manager
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year work experience in coordinating concrete steel construction projects
- Field experience in multifamily/residential construction is preferred
- Experience using MS Project & MS Office, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu
- CET diploma or equivalent is considered an asset
- Possess knowledge in construction processes, contracts, scheduling and quality control in large multi-family concrete projects
- Be a motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast pace team environment and has a strong desire to grow with the Company
- Demonstrate effective communication and team building skills
- Be results focused with a proven track record of accomplishments in the construction field
- Demonstrate the ability to problem solve, handle numerous and diverse activities, organizing and prioritizing appropriately to meet demands and expectations
