Overview
StarMind Therapy is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Social Worker (MSW) or Registered Psychotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team as an independent contractor. This role involves providing individual, family, and group psychotherapy services to children, youth, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds.
The ideal candidate is passionate about supporting clients through a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and client-centered approach. Experience working with newcomers, children, youth, families, anxiety, trauma, stress management, and life transitions is considered an asset.

Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, family, and/or group psychotherapy services.
- Complete clinical documentation in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop treatment plans and support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals.
- Maintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with your regulatory college.
- Collaborate with other healthcare and community professionals when appropriate.
- Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain client confidentiality and comply with all applicable privacy legislation.
Qualifications:
- Master of Social Work (MSW) and registration with the , or registration with the .
- Authorization to provide psychotherapy services in Ontario.
- Professional liability insurance.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
- Experience providing psychotherapy to children, youth, adults, couples, or families.
- Experience with CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, or other evidence-based modalities is considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $110.00-$125.00 per hour
