Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Store Clerk to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, assist with sales transactions, and maintain an organized store environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in retail sales, merchandising, and technical product demonstrations while supporting daily store operations.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Operate POS systems for cash handling, sales processing, and returns
- Conduct product demos to educate customers on features and benefits
- Upsell additional products and services to enhance customer experience
- Maintain merchandise displays and ensure products are well-stocked and organized
- Manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Handle cashiering duties including cash handling, processing payments, and issuing receipts
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store environment
- Utilize technology sales skills to promote new or featured products
- Filling Propane tanks
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Previous experience in retail sales, merchandising, or customer service preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately
- Effective time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Ability to demonstrate products confidently through demos and technical sales techniques
- Multilingual skills are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases
- Basic knowledge of retail merchandising, upselling strategies, and product knowledge
- Smart Serve Certified

Pay: $17.20-$25.59 per hour
