Duties
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with physician orders and legal requirements
- Provide expert consultation to patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and modify patient treatment plans
- Monitor patient responses to medications and adjust therapy as needed
- Maintain detailed and precise documentation of all medication-related activities
- Assist in medication administration processes within hospital or clinical settings
- Educate patients and staff on new medications, protocols, and safety procedures
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards related to pharmacy operations
Requirements
- Valid pharmacist license as per ACP
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, injection administration, and patient care protocols
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient counseling and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to safety standards
