As a Nurse Next Door employee, you receive:

Duties
- Provide one-on-one support to individuals in residential or community-based settings
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (personal care, hygiene, meals, housekeeping)
- Implement individualized care plans and support clients in achieving their goals
- Promote independence, dignity, and community inclusion
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality at all times
- Follow established health and safety procedures
Requirements for position:
- PSW certificate (or equivalent training), or currently enrolled in Nursing education. Home Support Worker, Relevant experience relating to this work is also considered valuable.
- Experience supporting seniors, or individuals with disabilities, mental health diagnoses, is an asset
- Physically able to perform the duties of the role (lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs occasionally)
- Current First Aid/CPR Certification is Required
- Vulnerable Screening Sector Check (less than 1 year old)
- Negative TB skin test or chest x ray - (less than 2 years old)
- 2 Professional references
