Job Summary
We are seeking skilled Heavy Duty Mechanics to join team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting heavy machinery and industrial equipment to ensure optimal operational performance. This role requires strong mechanical, electrical, and technical expertise, including experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and industrial maintenance systems. The Heavy Duty Mechanic will play a vital role in supporting manufacturing processes, ensuring safety standards, and minimizing downtime through proactive maintenance and repairs.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on heavy machinery and industrial equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using schematics and analysis skills.
- Repair or replace faulty components, including motors, belts, pumps, valves, and electrical systems.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, maintenance history, and parts inventory
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards during all maintenance activities.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades to existing systems.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used for accountability and future planning.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic or Industrial Maintenance Technician in manufacturing or similar industrial environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in schematics reading and analysis skills
- Industrial electrical experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to troubleshoot complex machinery issues efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and quality standards.
- Good communication skills in English for clear documentation and collaboration with team members.

Pay: $35.00-$55.10 per hour
