Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper to join our finance team. Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between bank statements and financial records.
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities and resolve issues promptly.
- Assist with payroll processing and related reporting tasks.
- Support budgeting processes by preparing financial reports and forecasts.
- Maintain organized records of financial documents, invoices, and receipts.
- Collaborate with auditors during financial audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards in all financial activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation.
- Knowledge of payroll processing and related regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze financial data accurately and efficiently.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial reporting.
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: $17.55-$25.00 per hour
