Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to students’ age and skill levels
- Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages participation and confidence
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback
- Prepare instructional materials, activities, and assessments aligned with curriculum standards
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs
- Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that promotes respect and enthusiasm for learning
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum effectiveness and share best practices
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student achievements
Skills
- Experience working with children in an educational setting or tutoring environment
- Strong knowledge of the English language, grammar, and literature
- Proven classroom experience with effective lesson planning and classroom management skills
- Excellent communication skills to engage students and communicate with parents or guardians
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
- Passion for education and fostering a love of learning in students
- Organizational skills for managing lesson plans, assessments, and student progress records
