Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be one of the first contacts of the patient . This role requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask. Experience with dentalware software is highly desirable. Must have experience with sterilization and disinfection control as well as HARP certification. Must have graduated from the Dental assisting program.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in and check-out processes.
- 4 handed dentistry assisting with restorative , orthodontic, endodontics and surgery.
- Schedule appointments and confirm patient visits using Dentalware.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage billing inquiries.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about services offered
- Collaborate with dentist and other staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
Skills
- Proficiency in 4 handed dentistry .
- Certified to take and developing x rays
- ordering of supplies and inventory.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Previous experience as a dental assisting is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
