Job Title: Pharmacist – Specialty Pharmacy (4-Week Contract)
Location: Abbotsford, BC
Employment Type: Contract – 4 Weeks (extension possible)
Schedule: Monday to Friday – 40 to 60 hours per week
About the Role
We are looking for a committed Pharmacist to join a specialty pharmacy in Abbotsford, BC. This four-week contract provides full-time hours in a collaborative, patient-focused environment, with the possibility of extension.
Primary Responsibilities
- Accurately review and fill prescriptions according to applicable regulations
- Offer comprehensive patient counseling on specialty medications, including usage and side effects
- Work alongside pharmacy staff and healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding patient care
- Assist with daily operations such as inventory management and recordkeeping
Requirements
- Current or eligible registration as a Pharmacist in BC
- Experience in a specialty pharmacy or with specialty medications is a plus
- Solid clinical knowledge and sharp attention to detail
- Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities
