Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, familiarity with freight handling, and the ability to operate heavy equipment when necessary. Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including commercial trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and heavy machinery
- Ensure accurate delivery of products, verifying orders against delivery manifests
- Maintain proper documentation of deliveries and pickups
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during transportation
- Assist with inventory management and warehouse organization when required
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries
Requirements
- Class 5 license required
- Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or other industrial machinery is a plus
- Knowledge of freight handling and transportation regulations
- Basic automotive repair skills are advantageous for troubleshooting vehicle issues
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks
- Prior experience in commercial driving or logistics is preferred but not required
- Must pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment

Pay: $16.15-$23.00 per hour
