Apprenticeship Opportunity:

Responsibilities:
- Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting baling equipment in a variety of industrial settings
- Conducting Preventative Maintenance activities and prioritizing tasks accordingly
- Identifying root causes of equipment failures and assessing feasibility of modifications
- Understanding system schematics and circuit diagrams
- Welding
- Rigging
- Arc air gouging
- Using hand tools (grinder, drill, die grinder, various saws)
- Using shop tools (various saws, welders, drill press, ironworker)
- Producing high-quality work with attention to detail
- Multitasking efficiently
- Working safely
- Solving problems independently and working collaboratively in a team
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Comfort with computers
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma (College Diploma or Trade License would be an asset)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Hydraulic knowledge
- Baler Knowledge
- Conveyor knowledge
- Understanding of Lean principles
- Commitment to continuous improvement
