We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Certified Dental Assistant to join our growing team. We are looking for both full-time and part-time assistants to join our team.
Position Summary
The Certified Dental Assistant will play a vital role in supporting our dentists and ensuring efficient clinical operations. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a wide range of dental procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure proper sterilization and infection control protocols are followed.
- Take and process digital radiographs
- Prepare and organize dental instruments, materials, and equipment.
- Provide chairside support during restorative, surgical, and preventive procedures.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes.
- Ensure operatories are clean, stocked, and ready for patient appointments.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering clinical supplies when required.
- Support a positive and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications Required:
- Certified Dental Assistant designation (Level II preferred).
- Strong knowledge of infection prevention and control standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, reliable, and patient-centered approach.
Preferred:
- Previous dental assisting experience.
- Familiarity with abelDent
