Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to lead the safe, timely, and accurate loading, unloading, and storage of materials within our dairy manufacturing facility.
This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of both finished goods and raw material warehouses, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, company policies, and health and safety regulations.
The successful candidate will take a hands-on approach to managing warehouse operations while leading and developing a high-performing team. You will play a key role in fostering a strong safety culture, upholding quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and workflow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Run warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with all safety standards and HACCP regulations
- Supervision of warehouse staff, coordinate and prioritize workflow, provide training, performance evaluation and disciplinary procedures
- Responsible as a super user of the warehouse management system
- Recommend and implement changes to improve processes and productivity to ensure warehouse runs in an accurate and efficient manner
- Ensure warehouse facility is kept clean, all stock is maintained in an appropriate manner, good stock rotation practices are in place, and product is kept clean and damage free to ensure quality integrity
- Completion and documentation of MSS and HACCP related items
- Ability to be flexible in terms of shift work and weekend work and perform other duties as required
Qualifications
· Post secondary education and/or minimum five (5) years relevant work experience in a lead hand or supervisory capacity.
· Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, including excellent sanitary habits and knowledge of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) considered a strong asset.
· Solid experience and working knowledge of an automated Warehouse Management System (WMS).
· Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, including written and verbal.
· Effective leadership skills with the ability to work well with and through others.
· Familiar with total quality management and continuous improvement processes.
· Good decision-making & problem-solving capabilities.
· Computer skills – experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
