Job Overview
Seignet Precision Tool & Machine Inc. is a precision CNC machining company serving the rail, industrial, and manufacturing sectors. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to help keep our shop organized and running efficiently.
Duties
- Empty machine coolant and waste oil into designated collection tanks
- Assist with moving raw materials, workpieces, and finished parts around the shop
- Clean CNC machines and surrounding work areas
- Fill machines with coolant and way lubricant as required
- Help prepare machines for preventive maintenance
- Organize materials, tooling, and shop supplies
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop floor
- Assist machinists and supervisors with general shop duties as needed
- Support assembly of components according to schematics and technical instructions
- Maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times
Requirements
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
