Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Food Service Worker to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional service in a fast-paced food environment, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met, and delivering a positive experience for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food industry operations, excellent time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. Prior restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling accurately.
- Serve customers efficiently, taking orders, answering questions, and providing friendly customer service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and manage cashiering duties with integrity.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist in food handling tasks including stocking supplies, portioning ingredients, and ensuring proper storage.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery.
- Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations.
- Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $17.20-$26.68 per hour
