ADENTRA's head office in Langley, BC is looking for a Finance Systems and Processes Analyst, and this role helps modernize how Finance works across ADENTRA by improving systems, redesigning processes, and applying practical automation and AI. Working at the intersection of Finance and IT, the Analyst helps build a more efficient, scalable, and insight-driven finance function. The role also ensures these improvements are delivered with strong governance, controls, and audit readiness.
The Analyst will work closely with finance teams across the ADENTRA Group to support the company’s strategic goals. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial systems knowledge, the ability to document current-state processes and recommend practical AI-enabled improvements, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and clear written and verbal communication.
This hybrid role is based at Head Office in Langley, BC.
Salary range: $85,000 - $115,000 CAD
Core Job Functions
1. Finance Systems & Process Optimization
- Analyze, document, and redesign finance processes such as close, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to improve efficiency, scalability, and decision support
- Identify and apply system, automation, and AI opportunities to improve finance workflows, reporting, and analytics
- Support system implementations, enhancements, testing, and adoption in line with business and finance requirements
- Partner with Finance, IT, and business users to support change management, user adoption, and continuous improvement
2. Finance Systems Maintenance
- Maintain user access and responsibility matrices, recommending improvements where needed
- Investigate and resolve Enterprise Performance Management System (EPMS) data integrity and reporting issues identified through daily or monthly maintenance
- Assist with analyzing and testing finance system changes and their impact on internal and external reporting
- Maintain EPMS dimensions, hierarchies, scenarios, and models in collaboration with finance leadership
- Provide EPMS training and support to new and existing users
- Complete control procedures and documentation to support EPMS accuracy, completeness, and internal control requirements
3. Finance Systems Governance, Risk & Controls
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, IFRS, and corporate policies
- Identify and mitigate risks related to automation and AI integration
Success in this looks like a scalable, efficient finance operating model with standardized processes, reliable and accessible data, and thoughtfully applied automation and AI that enhance productivity and insights. It also ensures strong governance, controls, and documentation, creating audit confidence and a solid foundation for growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA (or in progress) required; MIS or project management certification preferred
- 5–8+ years in finance, financial systems, or process improvement
- Strong analytical skills with ability to assess processes, systems, and data; identify root causes and design scalable solutions
- Ability to drive innovation by challenging traditional processes and identifying practical improvement opportunities
- Familiarity with AI and automation, including identifying use cases for workflow, reporting, and analysis improvements
- Understanding of data governance, controls, and audit considerations related to systems and AI
- Experience supporting system implementations and transformation initiatives; experience with tools (Planful, Power BI, Copilot, etc.) is an asset
- Adaptable, fast learner who thrives in a high-growth environment
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills
- Excellent time management, urgency, critical thinking, and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Finance Systems Analyst, Transformation Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role is preferred.
- Experience in a public company
