Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic, vigalent Mobile Security Supervisor to join our dynamic Security team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Mobile Security, Alarm call reponse and customer engagement. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, possess strong communication skills, the ability to walk, stand or drive for long or short periods, tech savvy and have a passion for building relationships with clients along with ability to drive and respond to alarm calls. As a Mobile Security Supervisor you will support Mobile activities, contribute to strategic initiatives, and develop valuable professional skills that will prepare you for a future career in Mobile Security. *Disclaimer- this position wage is solely per alarm call and is not per hour wage*
Responsibilities
1.Rapid Response & Triage
Dispatch & Route Coordination:Acknowledge alarm notifications immediately from dispatch or the central monitoring station and determine the fastest, safest route to the site.
2. On-Site Arrival & Safety Assessment
Perimeter Inspection & Verification: Conduct a dynamic risk assessment upon arrival. Inspect exterior access points (doors, windows, gates, loading docks) for signs of forced entry, vandalism, or structural damage.
Scene Security: Treat suspicious activity or active break-ins as potential crimes. Maintain a safe stand-off distance, request police dispatch, and ensure responding guards do not enter a compromised building alone without backup.
3. Incident Management & Inter-Agency Coordination
Liaising with Emergency Services: Serve as the primary point of contact for Police, Fire, or EMS upon their arrival. Provide responding officers with site access, floor plans, and real-time updates.
Keyholding & Securing Property: If a breach occurred, arrange temporary board-up or secure services, or re-arm and lock the premises if it was a false alarm.
4. Client & Operational Communication
Client Notification: Contact the designated monitoring station / client keyholders according to post orders to inform them of the alarm status (false alarm vs. actual incident).
Dispatch Updates: Maintain continuous communication with central monitoring to update site status (e.g., Arrived, Site Clear, Code 4/All Clear, Departing).
5. Documentation & Quality Control
Detailed Reporting: Complete an accurate Incident Report or Alarm Response Log detailing response times, physical findings, alarm zone numbers, actions taken, and police event numbers (if applicable).
Guard Supervision & Debrief: Review the performance of mobile guards who responded to the call to ensure standard operating procedures and safety protocols were strictly followed.
Resource Deployment: Direct nearest mobile patrol units to the scene if multiple guards are needed for high-risk locations or large facilities.
Pre-Arrival Briefing: Review site-specific post orders, keyholder notes, access instructions, and alarm zone details while en route.
Experience
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university program related to Law and Security, Police Foundations and related fields
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Eagerness to learn about Mobile Security
- Full G drivers license (Mandatory)
- Security license (Mandatory)
- Use of Force Certified ( Handcuff & Baton)( Mandatory)
- Previous Mobile Security experience (asset)
