Job Overview
Shelby’s Shawarma Westhill is looking for hardworking, reliable, and team-oriented individuals to join our crew. We are seeking team members who are willing to work at all stations within the restaurant and can effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment. This is not a single-station position; successful candidates must be comfortable learning and working in all areas of restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food according to Shelby’s standards.
- Work efficiently at all stations, including grill, fryers, prep, assembly line, cash register, and customer service.
- Assist team mates and support restaurant operations wherever needed.
- Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Wash dishes, utensils, containers, and kitchen equipment.
- Clean and sanitize workstations, food preparation areas, and equipment.
- Perform opening, mid-shift, and closing duties.
- Sweep, mop, take out garbage, and maintain overall restaurant cleanliness.
- Restock supplies and assist with inventory organization.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude.
Requirements
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work at all stations and perform all restaurant duties.
- Flexible availability, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and closing shifts.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Previous restaurant experience is an asset but not required.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
