Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant/Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. This role requires a strong focus on cleanliness, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. Prior hotel or custodial experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to hotel standards
- Make beds, change linens, and replenish supplies such as towels and toiletries
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain a pristine environment
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
- Restock minibar items, amenities, and other guest supplies as needed
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored properly after use
- Follow established health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Provide courteous service to guests, addressing any special requests or concerns professionally
Qualifications
- Prior experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes
- Good communication skills and a friendly attitude toward guests and team members
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and reaching
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices is a plus but not necessary

Pay: $17.00-$24.00 per hour
