What You’ll Do:
At The Hatching Post, we're passionate about serving fresh, high-quality food in a welcoming environment. We're looking for a reliable, hardworking Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in preparing ingredients with care and consistency, we'd love to hear from you.

Prepare ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standards.

Prepare sauces, dressings, soups, proteins and other menu items as directed.

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station.

Properly label, store, and rotate food using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.

Assist line cooks during busy service periods as needed.

Receive, unpack, and organize deliveries.

Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.

Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.
What we need from you:

Looking experienced chefs and cooks.

A passion and commitment to hospitality, teamwork, and fun.

A willingness to learn and an openness to feedback, coaching, and mentorship.

Must be able to follow recipes and take instructions from Chef and Sous Chef.

Great knife skills are an asset.

Food Safe certification

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and stand for extended periods.
