Festival Operations Assistant
2026 Cataraqui Chamber Music Festival

The 2026 Cataraqui Chamber Music Festival is seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused Festival Operations Assistants to support festival operations during the 2026 festival season. This is a casual, temporary position for individuals who enjoy working in a professional arts environment and providing an exceptional experience for artists and audiences.
Responsibilities
- Welcome audience members and provide excellent customer service.
- Check and scan concert tickets.
- Assist with audience seating and venue navigation.
- Answer general questions about the festival, concerts, and venues.
- Help set up and dismantle concert and festival spaces.
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and dismantling of festival signage, displays, and exhibitions.
- Support artists, staff and volunteers as needed.
- Assist with general festival operations and event logistics.
Qualifications
- Friendly, professional, and dependable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Organized and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to lift light equipment and stand for extended periods.
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, events, or the arts is considered an asset but is not required.

Schedule
Employment will take place during the 2026 Cataraqui Chamber Music Festival (August 4–19, 2026). Shifts are scheduled according to festival events and concerts and may include daytime, afternoon, evening, and weekend hours. Most shifts are approximately 1–3 hours.
Compensation
$17.60 per hour
