Located in the heart of Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, West Nipissing General Hospital is committed to providing exceptional healthcare services to our community. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented General Clerk 2026-57) to join our Diagnostic Imagining and Laboratory Departments. This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our healthcare services, working 37.5 hours per week at a competitive hourly rate of $27.97-$28.95.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of clerical duties to support the smooth operation of the hospital.

Maintain and update patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.

Assist in the coordination of appointments and scheduling for various departments.

Ensure effective communication between departments, staff, and patients.

Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and phone calls.

Support the administrative needs of the healthcare team as required.
Requirements/Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration are an asset.

Completion of Medical Terminology Course

Previous experience in a clerical or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with electronic health records systems.
