Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Hydrovac Operator with class 3 license to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating hydrovac trucks to safely excavate and expose underground utilities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational standards. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and mechanical knowledge, as well as the ability to work effectively in various outdoor environments.
Duties
- Operate hydrovac trucks for safe excavation of soil around utilities and other underground structures.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Collaborate with crew members to plan and execute excavation projects efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the worksite, including proper disposal of waste materials.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing duties.
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues with the equipment as needed.
Skills
- Proficient in commercial driving with a valid driver's license.
- Mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
- Ability to dig safely around utilities while minimizing disruption.
