Since 2001, Shadow Security has been providing the highest quality uniformed security, event security, plain clothes loss prevention, private investigation, and close protection services across Atlantic Canada. We have been entrusted to work with some of the largest artists, event venues, commercial and retail properties. Shadow Security can offer exciting and rewarding opportunities in the security industry, and we are currently seeking dependable and professional Security Officers to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible and professional security presence
- Patrol assigned sites and monitor the premises to prevent theft, vandalism, or damage
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and alarms
- Conduct screening, access control, and crowd control procedures at large festivals, sporting events, cultural events
- Write clear and detailed reports
- Provide excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Ability to acquire private security license with Department of Public Safety
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Professional demeanour and reliable work ethic
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
- Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods of time
- Previous security, customer service, law enforcement, military experience is considered an asset
Requirements
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Clean criminal record
- Reliable transportation is considered an asset
- Must be 19 years of age or older
