Swamper / Driver Helper – Local Beverage Deliveries

Commercial Logistics Inc. is hiring a Swamper (Driver Helper) to support our delivery drivers on local routes based out of Richmond, BC.
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy physical, hands-on work, being part of a team, and staying active throughout the day. You will work alongside a delivery driver to unload beverage products and deliver them to customers across Vancouver Island.

Schedule
Weekdays
10-hour shifts
Approximately 40 hours per week
This role involves local daytime deliveries only.
Pay

Starting wage: $27.05 per hour

What You’ll Be Doing
Working as part of a two-person delivery team, you will assist the driver with delivering beverage products to customers.
Responsibilities include:

Assisting with local product deliveries
-
Loading and unloading kegs and beverage cases
-
Moving product using hand dollies and power equipment
-
Delivering product into customer locations
-
Assisting the driver with route deliveries and customer interactions
-
Ensuring product is handled safely and accurately
You will spend part of the day driving between stops, with active delivery work at each customer location.
Physical Requirements
This is a physically active delivery position.
You should be comfortable with:

Repeatedly lifting and moving items 60+ lbs

Handling beer kegs and cases throughout the day

Using hand dollies and power equipment

Delivering product into customer locations

Qualifications

Clean driver’s abstract

Physically capable of regular lifting and moving heavy product

Good communication skills and English fluency
