Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified 309A Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various residental and commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and building codes, contributing to the safe and efficient operation of our facilities. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to plan and execute installations or repairs.
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including low voltage wiring, power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete electrical tasks with precision.
- Work on renovation projects by updating or replacing existing electrical infrastructure while adhering to safety protocols.
- Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in industrial automation processes.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or upgrades to ensure electrical components are integrated seamlessly.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a licensed Electrician with relevant local or national licensing authorities.
- 3 years or more experience
- Proven experience as an electrician in residental or commercial environments.
- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
- Knowledge of low voltage wiring systems and industrial electrical components.
- Experience working on renovation projects or construction sites is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and schematics related to automation systems.
- Additional handyman experience is a plus for versatile troubleshooting and repair tasks.
