Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas and related menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening, closing, and shift management to ensure smooth workflow
- Supervise and motivate team members, providing coaching on food preparation, customer service, and food safety practices
- Manage cash handling procedures using POS systems such as Micros POS to ensure accurate transactions
- Maintain strict adherence to food handling and safety regulations to guarantee a clean, safe environment for staff and guests
- Assist in interviewing and onboarding new team members to build a strong, capable workforce
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed to prevent shortages
- Deliver outstanding customer service by engaging with guests professionally and resolving any concerns promptly
- Enforce restaurant policies related to hospitality standards, food quality, cleanliness, and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant operations within the food industry or hospitality sector
- Prior supervisory or team management experience in a restaurant or food service environment
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash handling platforms
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous experience in kitchen operations or restaurant management is highly desirable
- Hospitality background including barista experience or hotel experience is a plus
