For more than 30 years, North Durham Professional Counsellors has been a trusted provider of mental health services to individuals, couples, adolescents, and families throughout Port Perry and the surrounding communities.
We are seeking a Registered Psychologist or Psychological Associate (including ABD and Supervised Practice candidates) to join our established private practice. This position offers the opportunity to provide assessment and/or psychotherapy services within a supportive, collaborative, and client-centered environment.
Our practice serves clients across Port Perry, Uxbridge, Scugog, Durham Region, and North Durham. We provide administrative support, intake screening, and client referrals that are thoughtfully matched to each clinician's areas of expertise, interests, and professional strengths.
This role is ideal for a clinician seeking the flexibility and autonomy of private practice while benefiting from the support of an experienced multidisciplinary team.
Position Requirements
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (or eligible for registration)
- Experience providing psychological assessment and/or psychotherapy services
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated competency in the provision of psychotherapy using evidence-based treatment approaches (e.g., CBT, ACT, DBT, EFT, CPT, PE).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a professional team environment
- Interest in serving diverse client populations, including adults, adolescents, couples, and families
