Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking seasonal labourer/delivery driver to join our team for the summer. This role is a mix of yard work, customer deliveries, and general support to keep operations running smoothly during peak months.
Key Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and organize materials in the yard and warehouse
- Deliver products to job sites and customers in a safe and timely manner
- Operate a forklift to move, load, and organize materials (training/certification an asset)
- Handle shipping and receiving, including checking and organizing incoming orders
- Assist customers with order pickups
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard and work areas
- Support staff with general labour tasks as needed
- Perform basic vehicle checks and ensure delivery vehicles are kept clean
Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labour throughout the day
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience in construction, landscaping, irrigation, or a similar field is an asset (but not required)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
