Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Concrete Finisher/ form setter/ labourer.. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing, masonry, and related trades, with the ability to work independently at times. This role involves working on various projects including commercial, residential, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of construction processes and be capable of heavy lifting and operating power tools.
Duties
- Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to achieve smooth, level finishes.
- Install rebar and formwork according and prepare for concrete pouring.
- Operate multiple power tools and shovels rakes ect.
- Assist with concrete forming, placement, and curing processes while maintaining safety protocols.
- Conduct finishing touches such as smoothing surfaces, applying sealants or coatings, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in concrete finishing or related construction trades such as masonry or restoration.
- Must have reliable transportation a must!
- Tie rebar, concrete forming, shovelling, raking, and other duties
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and protocols.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship.
