Beban Park Golf Course & Driving Range is looking for a reliable, friendly, and motivated Clubhouse & Range Attendant to join our team. This position plays an important role in creating a positive experience for our customers while helping keep the clubhouse, driving range, and facility clean, organized, and operating efficiently.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, comfortable working independently, and able to handle a variety of responsibilities including customer service, opening/closing duties, cash handling, and driving range operations. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail are essential.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming environment for golfers of all ages and skill levels
- Answer customer questions regarding pricing, programs, rentals, lessons, and facility rules
- Open and close the clubhouse following daily procedures and checklists
- Process transactions using our POS and Moneris systems
- Maintain inventory and restock snacks, beverages, golf balls, scorecards, rental clubs, and merchandise
- Keep the clubhouse, patio, washrooms, and customer areas clean, organized, and presentable throughout the shift
- Perform nightly closing duties including cash-outs, cleaning, vacuuming, shutting down systems, and securing the facility
- Operate the range picker to collect driving range balls safely and efficiently
- Wash, sort, and load golf balls into the ball dispensing machine as needed
- Assist with general facility upkeep and other daily operational tasks as required
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous customer service, retail, or cashier experience preferred
- Golf knowledge or golf course/driving range experience is considered an asset
- Serving It Right certification strongly preferred
- Comfortable working independently and following structured routines and procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs and safely operate a small utility cart/range picker
- Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and organization
