Overview
We are seeking a friendly, bilingual (Farsi/ English) and professional Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food and beverage service. As a key member of our establishment, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving drinks, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. This role requires strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of food safety and responsible alcohol service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with company standards.
- Use POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering duties.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, tools, and supplies.
- Ensure responsible alcohol service by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption.
- Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, answer questions, and promote specials or menu items.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
- Follow food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours through effective time management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant or bar environment.
Skills
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred.
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills accurately.
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly by verifying IDs and monitoring guest consumption.
- Familiarity with the food service industry’s standards for hospitality excellence.
